You will drive execution across three major projects scheduled for the year, taking full ownership of Python development for the ARM platform. A key responsibility will be designing, building, and maintaining Python‑based components and services, including improving existing codebases, identifying technical gaps, and defining clear development priorities.
Your primary focus will be writing high‑quality, production‑ready Python code, contributing to core systems and tooling used across the platform. You will work closely with engineers across teams to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with wider architecture standards.
Additionally, you will integrate Python applications and services into existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub), ensuring builds, deployments, and releases are reliable, automated, and well maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Must Haves
* 5+ years of hands‑on Python development experience in production environments
* Advanced proficiency in Python, including writing clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code
* Experience working with Jenkins and GitHub as part of modern development workflows
* Strong experience working on brownfield projects, improving, refactoring, or extending existing codebases
* Solid understanding of build, integration, and deployment processes
Plusses
* PowerShell scripting experience
* Experience designing new Python services or significantly modernising legacy systems
* Experience working in Windows‑based environments
* Exposure to security‑focused or highly regulated environments
