The Area Schemes Team plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the highways network, delivering small to medium schemes that enhance safety and efficiency across the region. Your new roleAs a Delivery Manager, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Delivery Manager to oversee the safe and effective delivery of a portfolio of schemes. You'll manage resources, programmes, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.What you'll need to succeed Excellent understanding of CDM regulations, health, safety, and environmental legislation. Proven experience managing schemes through to completion. Strong knowledge of resource and programme management. Ability to analyse problems and develop innovative solutions. Effective communication and relationship-building skills. Commercial and contractual awareness, particularly with NEC contract principles. Industry qualification: SMSTS. Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint systems. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
