We’re looking for an innovative, unrestrained and organised person to take on the role of Activities Manager for EF in Summer 2024. This is the perfect opportunity for somebody looking to gain management experience and boost their CV by working in an international environment.
What will I be doing?
1. In this role, you’ll have the overall responsibility of ensuring our summer activities, events and excursions are exceptional quality, fun, and generate a high level of student satisfaction
2. You’ll ensure we are delivering a high level of customer service across all of our courses by leading and managing a team of Activities Coordinators and Activity Leaders
What does my day-to-day look like?
As the Activities Manager for the Isle of Wight, no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for delivering quality activities across the destination and some of your duties will include the following:
3. Making activity bookings based on student volume
4. Onboarding new activities staff
5. Running activity meetings and briefings
6. Liaising with transportation suppliers both on the island and off
7. Creating staff rotas
8. Ensuring high quality standards across evening and weekend events
9. Management of stock and branding
10. Ensuring Activity Leaders are well equipped for their day-to-day work
11. Supporting the team with student evaluations
Who will I be working with?
12. You’ll be supporting a small team of Activity Coordinators supported by an experienced Summer Management Team
13. You’ll also be working with our summer Activity Leaders, taking care of staff welfare and light HR duties
