Remarkable Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation who are seeking an AI Research Intern to join their IT team at the Colnbrook office. AI Research Intern Role:
As an AI Research Intern, you will gain hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence and automation to real-world business challenges. You will work across departments to identify where AI can deliver value, evaluate workflows, and propose intelligent solutions.
Your work will include researching and testing AI tools, analysing automation platforms (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps), and developing prototypes to improve processes such as document processing and data extraction. You’ll also assess feasibility, ROI, and present recommendations to leadership.
In addition, you will contribute to governance and ethics, supporting compliance and risk assessment, and creating technical documentation, usage guides, and structured reports for senior management.

AI Research Intern Key Responsibilities:
* Research opportunities for AI and automation within business operations.
* Test and evaluate AI tools and low-code platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate).
* Develop prototypes and structured improvement plans to optimise workflows.
* Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
* Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with IT, HR, and Legal on compliance and security.
* Create documentation, guides, and templates for governance and implementation.

What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
* Degree (or currently studying) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
* Exposure to Python and data preprocessing.
* Understanding of machine learning concepts such as NLP, large language models, and reinforcement learning.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Proactive, organised, and ethical in handling sensitive data.
Desirable:
* Experience with low-code platforms (e.g. Power Apps).
* Coursework or certifications in AI ethics or cybersecurity.
