About the Role
At Sulzer, we operate through a network of 14 UK sites and over 100 global service sites, offering cutting‑edge solutions for parts, maintenance, and repairs related to pumps, turbines, compressors, motors, and generators.
We service not only our own original equipment but also third‑party rotating equipment, ensuring sustainability and cost‑effectiveness throughout their life cycle.

Your main tasks and responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong connections with both existing and potential clients. Understand their unique challenges and collaborate to create bespoke solutions that meet their needs.
* Carry out in-depth research within your region to uncover new sales leads, particularly for electric rotating machinery maintenance, including generators, motors, and transformers. Provide insightful market feedback to continuously enhance Sulzer’s offerings.
* Offer support and guidance to customers, showcasing Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
* Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
What you’ll need to succeed
* A proven track record in technical sales with a deep understanding of the sales process.
* Extensive knowledge of electric rotating machinery, including motors, generators, and transformers.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* A self‑motivated, results‑driven approach with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
* Residence within the Yorkshire region is preferred.
* A full UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
