Planner / Senior Planner – Greater Exeter
Location: Greater Exeter / Full-time / Salary: £30k - £35k DOE
Key Responsibilities
* Assess potential development sites, reviewing planning policy, site constraints, and opportunities.
* Prepare planning appraisals, strategies, Local Plan representations, applications, and condition discharge submissions.
* Coordinate consultant teams and review technical reports, surveys, and assessments.
* Attend site visits, public consultations, and Local Plan examinations to represent and promote project proposals.
* Support the progression of schemes through the planning process, ensuring effective coordination, timely delivery, and strong project management.
About You
* MRTPI qualified or nearing submission.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT systems.
* Solid understanding of the UK planning market and current industry trends.
