What You'll Be Doing
* Generate, manage and prioritise an end-to-end sales pipeline to exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that drive sales.
* Evangelise Speechmatics’ vision and value proposition within Conversational AI and Real‑Time Speech Recognition.
* Share best practices with a high‑performing sales team.
* Maintain market, industry and product knowledge to lead the competitive landscape.
* Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM for robust pipeline management and forecasting.
Who We're Looking For
* Experience selling complex technical solutions, ideally API‑first, into C‑suite/VP‑level technical personas.
* 10+ years of commercial experience, primarily within sales/business development roles.
* Proven ability to close large commercial deals (£100k+) and exceed sales targets.
* Self‑source pipeline to supplement Marketing and BDR initiatives – at least 25% of your time on outbound strategies.
* Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, interfacing across Product, Engineering and other teams.
* Strong knowledge and usage of MEDDPICC.
* Excellent team player who supports and mentors others.
* Demonstrable experience using AI throughout the sales process.
* Excellent communication, writing and project‑management skills.
