The Company
A growing international SaaS business is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its London-based team. Backed by Private Equity, the company delivers enterprise-grade software solutions to organisations across multiple regions.
This is a broad operational finance leadership role within a multi-entity, multi-currency group environment. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and plays an important part in ensuring the finance function is robust, scalable and aligned to a high-growth strategy.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will oversee core finance operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting, cash management and control frameworks across the Group.
This role combines hands-on financial control with team leadership and continuous improvement, including modernising systems, strengthening processes and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
Support the annual audit process and act as a key contact for external auditors
Maintain and enhance internal controls and governance procedures
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control activities
Manage payroll coordination and treasury operations
Own short-term cashflow forecasting and liquidity monitoring
Support budgeting and reforecasting cycles in partnership with FP&A
Review and assess revenue recognition treatment across software and professional services streams (FRS102 environment)
Assist with tax compliance activities including corporate and indirect taxes
Contribute to external reporting requirements, including lender reporting where applicable
Drive improvements in finance systems, reporting capability and automation
Provide leadership and development to junior members of the finance team
Candidate Profile
ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
5+ years' post-qualified experience
Experience within a PE-backed and/or high-growth SaaS environment
Strong grounding in financial control and accounting operations
Experience operating in a multi-entity, international structure
Understanding of subscription-based revenue models (ARR/MRR)
Demonstrated people management experience
Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Analytical, detail-oriented and systems-focused
