We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager with a strong engineering background in Java and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will manage end‑to‑end delivery of complex technical projects, work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams, and ensure successful implementation of scalable, cloud‑native solutions.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
* Lead full project lifecycle — planning, estimation, execution, delivery, and post‑release support
* Create and maintain project plans, sprint backlogs, and RAID logs
* Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions while managing scope, risks, and dependencies
* Coordinate with engineering, QA, DevOps, architecture, and product teams
* Conduct daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates
* Track KPIs, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
* Work closely with Java developers, solution architects, and cloud engineers
* Understand technical designs, APIs, microservices architecture, and data flows
* Guide teams in modernizing legacy applications to cloud‑native AWS solutions
* Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards
* Assist in resolving technical blockers and facilitating architectural decisions
* Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS
* Understanding of microservices built on Java (Spring Boot preferred)
* Familiarity with DevOps tools — Git, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation
* Ability to read technical documentation, troubleshoot high-level issues, and interface with developers
Your Skills:
* 3–5+ years as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master
* Prior hands‑on experience as a Java engineer or strong working knowledge of Java‑based systems
* Proven track record managing cloud projects on AWS
* Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge; certification preferred (CSM, PSM, PMI‑ACP)
* Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with senior stakeholders
* Experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and modern software architectures
