Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing
Kingston University – School of Nursing, Allied & Public Health, Kingston Hill
Permanent, part‑time (22.2 hours per week).
Salary ranges from £45,025.00 to £48,820.00 per annum, pro‑rata for part‑time positions.
Responsibilities
* Teach across pre‑registration and post‑registration courses for children’s nursing.
* Develop and deliver innovative, relational educational practice to enhance student experience.
* Contribute to pastoral care and support the learning and teaching of students.
* Pursue research, enterprise or professional practice interests, supported by the School.
* Fulfil the duties required to achieve UKPSF recognition by the end of probation.
* Participate in annual teaching quality reviews and institutional meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered children’s nurse with the NMC and at least a degree level qualification.
* Strong clinical experience caring for children and young people with acute health needs.
* Excellent communication, teamwork and student support skills.
* Teaching qualification desirable but not mandatory.
* Eligibility to work in the UK (see Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
* Need to obtain an enhanced DBS check clearance.
