General Manager – Southwest England – up to £50k – Independent education
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established education catering provider to oversee a great independent school contract in Southwest England.
About the role:
It will be the General Manager’s responsibility to oversee day to day operations. The General Manager will be responsible for delivering contractual agreements and surpassing the clients expectations through innovative and exciting ideas.
Team management and development will play a huge part in this role. Whilst there is an established team in place of circa 50, training and people development will be an area you have experience in and excel.
You will be catering for circa 800 daily across this beautiful boarding school with a turnover of circa £2.5 million.
Ideal General Manager:
1. Management experience within contract catering, ideally independent schools.
2. Track record of exceeding client expectations.
3. Financial understanding and P&L management along with experience developing budgets.
4. Experience in team and people development.
5. Excellent client relationship skills.
6. Proven experience developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience.
