We urgently need an experienced Carpentry Technician with strong machining skills to join a busy Further Education College workshop in Liverpool.
This role starts on a temporary hourly-paid basis with the view to a permanent contract down the line. Youll be supporting staff and students in a fast-paced carpentry workshop, ensuring safe and efficient use of machinery and equipment.
What youll be using:
* Band saws
* Bench saws
* Bench planers
* Other standard carpentry workshop machinery
What were looking for:
* Carpentry background with machining experience
* Previous workshop or technician experience (FE sector desirable)
* Health & Safety aware and able to work in a busy learning environment
* Flexible, reliable, and hands-on
