Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) - 6 Month Contract
London (3-4 days per week in office)
£400-£500 per day (Inside IR35) or £80k-£90k PAYE
A high-growth tech company is rebuilding the way entrepreneurs and founders start and run their businesses.
They provide an integrated platform covering company setup, formation, compliance, accounting, payroll, HR and business banking - removing the operational friction that slows founders down.
Now they're investing heavily in product.
This isn't a UI tidy-up. It's an opportunity to redesign how new customers enter the platform, how they self-serve, and how complex regulatory requirements are translated into simple, intuitive digital journeys.
You'll be working on:
End-to-end new customer journeys
Self-serve and self-help experiences that reduce friction and improve retention
Evolving and maintaining a scalable design system
Turning regulatory and compliance requirements into elegant UX solutions
Embedding UX metrics into decision-making (drop-off, conversion, engagement)
QA'ing builds and iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment
This role requires someone comfortable operating in compliance-heavy environments such as financial services, utilities or telecoms. Regulation, security and governance aren't blockers here - they're part of the design challenge.
You'll need:
Deep UX & UI experience across SaaS or platform products
Strong Figma capability with developer-ready outputs
Experience building or maintaining design systems
Experience in startup or scaleup environments
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Analytical mindset (A/B testing, funnel optimisation, research)
Experience working with MCP servers
Experience improving new customer journeys and self-help flows is a strong advantage
This is hands-on, commercially impactful design work inside a business with serious growth ambitions.

Desired Skills and Experience
UX & UI design across complex SaaS and platform products
End-to-end ownership of new customer journeys and onboarding flows
Design of self-serve and self-help experiences in regulated environments
Strong Figma capability with developer-ready files and component libraries
Building, maintaining and scaling design systems
Translating regulatory, compliance and security requirements into intuitive UX
Prototyping and high-fidelity design for web and responsive platforms
UX metrics, funnel optimisation, A/B testing and data-led iteration
Usability testing, user research (qualitative and quantitative) and insight synthesis
Cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, marketing and compliance
QA of production builds and rapid iteration post-release
Experience working with MCP servers
Comfortable in fast-paced startup / scaleup environments with changing priorities
