We are looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team.
About the Role
As our Activities Coordinator, you will be at the heart of life in the home - organising a wide range of activities, outings, and events that support wellbeing, encourage independence, and bring smiles to our residents' faces. From music therapy and arts & crafts to reminiscence sessions and community outings, you'll ensure every resident feels valued and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
* plan and deliver a varied programmed of activities tailored to individual interests and needs
* Encourage residents to participate and support them to achieve their goals
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community
* Record and monitor participation to ensure all residents are included
* organise regular outings and special events
What We're Looking For:
* A warm, caring and patient personality
* Creative ideas and enthusiasm to inspire engagement
* Good organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead
* Excellent communication and team working skills
* Experience in a similar role or with older people is desirable but not essential - what matters most is your energy and commitment
