NHS Scotland's provider of a national tele-health and tele-care service, delivering health advice and information via telephone and online 24/7. NHS 24 offers triage, advice, guidance, referral, and healthcare information to the people of Scotland.
Where We Are
Our Regional Centres are located at Aberdeen, Cardonald, Clydebank, Dundee, Hillington, and South Queensferry. This role is for the Ayrshire & Arran Local Centre.
This Role
* Perform high-quality telephone assessments and provide clinical supervision within a multidisciplinary team.
* Act as an autonomous practitioner, providing comprehensive telephone triage and clinical assessments to patients and carers, ensuring safe and appropriate decisions.
* Provide real-time clinical support to NHS 24 frontline staff for safe, person-centred outcomes.
* Facilitate delivery of healthcare information, self-care advice, or referrals to appropriate care levels.
* Use various models to deliver clinical supervision to non-clinical staff.
Who Are We Looking For?
* Registered Adult Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
* Excellent clinical decision-making, supervision, and leadership skills.
* Extensive post-registration experience, preferably in acute or primary care, with broad knowledge across specialties.
* Critical decision-making skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our Enhanced Salary Package
Band 6 salary: £39,912 - £48,635* (pro-rata for part-time). Salary placement depends on NHS service experience.
Enhanced pay for unsocial hours: Saturday/after 8 pm weekday: £31.03/hr; Sunday/public holidays: £41.37/hr.

For a starting salary of £39,912 working 37.5 hours with 5 out of 8 weekends, estimated monthly earnings are:

Shift Patterns
Options include 12, 16, 24, or 30 hours/week, with shifts across an 8-week rota.
