Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt and courteous service
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
* Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
* Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining space, and workstations throughout shifts
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies
* Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system with confidence
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
* Follow food safety regulations and organisational procedures at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
* Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Good time management to ensure timely service during peak hours
* Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
* A valid identification or equivalent proof of legal entitlement to serve alcohol
