Five Education is currently recruiting qualified teachers for long-term supply positions across Bristol. We specialise in SEND provision and are seeking teachers to lead classes within special schools. Newly Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply, provided they are confident leading a classroom. These roles are both rewarding and unique, offering competitive pay and the potential for temp-to-perm placements. Positions can be either part-time or full-time, working full school days from 8:30 to 15:30.
Responsibilities and duties:
-Supporting the students in the class
-Using behaviour management techniques to keep students calm and maintain a safe working environment
-Helping TAs to manage 1:1 and small groups
-Implementing behaviour management tools in line with the school's policy
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months' experience working with children or vulnerable adults
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A flexible, adaptable, and resourceful approach to teaching
Patience and the ability to build strong relationships with students
The right to work in the UK (valid visa required)
Two recent child-related references and an up-to-date DBS/Police check*
Access to reliable transport (bike, car, or public transport routes)
Availability to work between 8:30-15:30, 2-5 days per week during term time
*If you do not hold a current Enhanced DBS (non-voluntary) on the Update Service, we can assist you in obtaining one at a cost of £62.70, which will be refunded after 20 working days with us.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
