About The Role
Morrison Telecom Services operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. We deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.
Providing support to the Commercial team, working within a team of 6 Commercial Cost Clerks, with ownership of a portfolio of Subcontractors. The key responsibility of this role is to ensure that the Subcontract account summaries are produced in line with agreed terms, and payments made accordingly.
Main Duties
1. Producing subcontract account summaries.
2. Processing payments into Oracle.
3. Managing liability sheet for application only accounts.
4. Updating of subcontractor account summaries with weekly recharges: FPN, S74, Defect’s, RA’s, material and plant.
5. Creating and processing variation orders.
6. Liaising with subcontractors.
7. Advising on account queries.
8. Ensuring weekly trackers are updated.
9. Organising Retention Releases, when advised by QS’s / Commercial Leads.
10. Producing Final Account measures.
Required Key Skills
11. Strong Excel Skills are essential for this role. All candidates should be fully conversant with; Vlookup, If Commands, Pivots
12. Needs to be able to communicate and have relations with Subcontractors & internal MTS operations & Commercial managers on a daily basis.
13. Will be asked to work as a team but also manage their own Sub-Contractor accounts.
14. Able to adapt to Ad-hoc tasks when they arise.
15. Needs to be reliable and works well under pressure.
16. Attention to the details required.
