Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
The organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the rollout and upgrade of its HR and payroll system, specifically focusing on iTrent. This role involves collaborating with a third-party provider to ensure a seamless transition. Experience working within the Scottish public sector or similar regulated environments is highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the end-to-end delivery of the iTrent implementation/upgrade, ensuring alignment with organisational HR, payroll, and digital strategies.
2. Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, and technical specialists to deliver system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live readiness.
3. Oversee project planning, RAID management, governance reporting, and stakeholder engagement across HR, Finance, IT, and service delivery functions.
4. Ensure compliance with public-sector standards, data-protection requirements, and audit expectations.
5. Drive user-acceptance testing, training planning, and transition into Business As Usual (BAU) support.
Essential Skills
6. Proven Experience delivering HR/payroll system projects, with iTrent Experience highly advantageous.
7. Strong supplier-management skills and Experience working with third-party software vendors.
8. Background in Scottish public sector or similar environments is desirable.
9. Excellent planning, governance, and risk-management capability.
10. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage HR, IT, and operational stakeholders.
