Qualified Nursery Practitioner Location: Portsmouth Hourly Rate: £14.70-£15.50 (depending on qualification) Are you an experienced and qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work opportunities? We are currently seeking dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join our team, working across various nurseries in the Portsmouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in a flexible agency role. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s learning and development. Assist with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nap times, and toileting. Work collaboratively with a team of nursery staff to maintain a safe and nurturing environment. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. What We’re Looking For: A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher). Proven experience as a Nursery Practitioner with a strong understanding of childcare best practices. In-depth knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work in different nursery environments. Valid First Aid certification (desirable).
