Job Introduction
Site Technician Ground Engineering
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Competitive, based on experience + company benefits package.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Lucion Ground Engineering is looking for a Site Technician to join our expanding ground investigation teams. This role requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors, and experienced in groundworks (hand digging). Experience with diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out site work to support ground investigations
* Using diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs
* Performing hand digging and general groundworks
* Assisting engineering staff with fieldwork operations
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required
* Preparing and presenting test data
* Conducting site evaluations for tendering purposes
What Were Looking For
* Enjoys working outdoors and able to carry out heavy manual work
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Basic numerical and PC skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Punctual and reliable
Desirable
* Experience using diamond drilling/coring equipment
* Knowledge of the ground investigation industry
* Understanding of geographical awareness
* Diverse and interesting ground investigation projects
