About The Role Estimator (All Levels) Building Division Location: Hillsborough, Northern Ireland Contract: Permanent Reports to: Estimating Manager Benefits: Pension, Private Medical (subsidised), Life Assurance, Car Allowance About the Role GRAHAM is continuing to grow, and were seeking a motivated and detail-driven Estimator to join our Building Division. Youll be responsible for producing accurate, commercially robust estimates across a wide range of building projects, working closely with the Bid and Pre-Construction teams. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the bid programme, including enquiries, pricing, and adjudication milestones. Review tender documents and Conditions of Contract to ensure completeness and compliance. Prepare and issue material and subcontract inquiries. Undertake site visits to gather key information for pricing. Prepare and collate tender submission documentation. Upload, edit, and produce Bills of Quantities and quantity take-offs. Price resources, temporary works, and preliminaries using sound commercial judgement. Support adjudication processes and finalise complete tender submissions. Maintain organised tender records and reporting. Contribute to continuous improvement within the estimating function. Essential Criteria Degree in a construction-related discipline (or equivalent 3rd level qualification). Strong knowledge of the UK construction market, ideally within contracting. Comprehensive understanding of the estimating process. Confident communicator with experience presenting tenders for adjudication. Experience pricing site preliminaries and identifying project risks/opportunities. Desirable Experience with Causeway or similar estimating software. Good understanding of the UK construction supply chain.
