Position: Vehicle Technician

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Automotive OEM Based in Essex who are now looking for a Vehicle technician to join the team on a long term rolling basis

Position Description:
* Interface to workshop and test facilities as required achieving set tasks/goals.
Skills Required:
* Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.
* Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.
* Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.
* Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.
* Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc.
* Coordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.
* Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.
Experience Required:
* Experience in Vehicle testing and Powertrain Calibration activities
