Vision for Education are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of English to work at a well-regarded secondary school in Preston, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English specialist to join a supportive school community from October 2025 on a full-time basis, covering a maternity leave until July 2026.
The Role
We are recruiting a passionate and committed Teacher of English to deliver high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong subject knowledge, the ability to inspire learners, and the capacity to contribute positively to the wider school culture. This Teacher of English role is full-time and will start in October 2025, continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2026, to cover a maternity leave.
You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to departmental planning. Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to raising attainment are essential.
