Temporary Sales Administrator
Location: Farnborough
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri
Type: Temporary - Ongoing
In this fast-moving position, you are responsible for providing sales/technical support to an allocated market, acting as a central coordinator supporting the smooth transition of orders through the business. This key role, which is now open, is vital in maintaining our satisfaction and credibility with customers.
Responsibilities
* To be responsible for the processing and compilation of machine orders.
* Communicate directly with customers, field sales teams, distributors and internal functions to ensure the completion of customer orders and resolution of application/delivery issues.
* Assessing the details of products sold to ensure they are fit for purpose and are correctly specified. Ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and following the company strategy.
* Entry of order details in IT ERP systems and creation of written acknowledgment of orders for customers.
* Participate in projects that deliver on-going improvements to the company processes.
* Support inter-departmental team working. Liaising with procurement, engineering and manufacturing facilities as and where required.
* Conduct customer visits both PDI & FAT in support of the sales team as and when required.
* Conduct and assist with product testing to validate application details against order requirements.
Essential Requirements
* Very good attention to detail and able to resolve administrative discrepancies.
* Demonstrable experience working in a Customer Service or Sales environment.
* College or equivalent education experience in a technical subject.
* Good I.T. skills in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other IT systems.
* Ability to manage own workload and to work as part of a team.
