You will work within a specialist environment supporting a diverse cohort of autistic pupils. The focus is not only on education, but on celebrating each young person’s individuality and helping them develop essential skills in social communication, sensory and emotional regulation, and independence.

Positions are also available within satellite provisions located in local primary schools. You will work as part of a collaborative, multi‑professional team including class staff, therapists, parents, and external specialists. Extensive training is provided to ensure you are fully equipped to deliver the highest standard of care and support.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ development, working closely with teachers and therapists to create positive, engaging and autism‑informed learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils with sensory needs, emotional regulation, and social communication.
Assisting pupils in accessing learning, following instructions and building independence.

Supporting personal care, hygiene and medical needs where required (full training provided).
Working as part of a warm, collaborative and dynamic team that celebrates progress — no matter how small.
This role requires compassion, patience, and commitment, and offers the reward of seeing the direct impact of your support every single day.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children, ideally those with autism or additional needs.
Knowledge of sensory processing, autism strategies, or a willingness to learn more.
Excellent communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach.
A genuine desire to grow, learn and contribute to a high‑performing team.
