No formal qualifications? No problem — we value your attitude and willingness to learn over certificates.
About the Role:
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will:
* Support pupils aged 11–16, including those with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
* Work closely with teachers to manage challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom
* Provide 1:1 or small group support, helping students engage with learning and develop key skills
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and help pupils with emotional regulation
Who Should Apply?
This role is perfect if you:
* Have patience, resilience, and strong communication skills
* Have experience in care, youth work, behaviour support, mentoring, or similar fields
* Want to gain valuable experience in education with a clear pathway for development
Requirements (We’ll Support You):
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Two references covering the last 2 years
