SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER
Job Purpose
To design, test, commission, electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery, meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.
Main Duties
* Design our control panels, using our standard or designing from scratch
* Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications, specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
* Develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi…)
* Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
* Test equipment in our factory / test centre
* Help the Commissioning Engineers, traveling to customer sites
* Propose permanent technical assistance in pre-sale and post-sale
* Help research and develop new products
Candidate Profile
* Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering, at an equipment builder, if possible
* Professional experience (or apprenticeship) in control panel design
* Experience of programming PLC systems and HMI software
* Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
* Know how to take initiative
* Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility
* Team spirit and sense of commitment
