HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Sparkbrook, West Midlands. Shifts: • Monday to Friday • 06:00am starts Rates of Pay: • £15.00 per hour – Basic rate Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing, consistent work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen facilities • Full training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: • Curtainside deliveries (no handball involved) • Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from customer locations • Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure all cargo is correctly loaded and secured • Adhere to UK road traffic laws and safety regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly • Assist with loading and unloading when required • Complete a maximum of 5 drops per day Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of written and spoken English • Strong punctuality and time management • Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations • Excellent communication skills Desirable Experience: • Previous Class 2 multi-drop delivery experience • Experience driving other commercial vehicles Training Provided: • Full driver induction provided prior to starting work Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
