Role Description
This is a role for Multi Discipline Freelance Inspectors (on call), based in the UK and EU region. The Freelance Inspector will oversee and perform technical inspections, ensuring compliance with international standards and client project requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting quality assurance inspections, expediting procurement packages, writing detailed inspection and expediting reports, managing audits, and ensuring that all materials and processes meet client and regulatory specifications. The role also requires communication with stakeholders and coordination with relevant teams to facilitate timely project execution.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control, including experience with third-party inspections and regulatory compliance.
* Certification in a relevant discipline such as CSWIP/IWIP, CompEX/IECEX, NORSOK/BGas/NACE.
* Strong knowledge in technical inspection, surveillance, and certification standards for the Oil & Gas construction industry.
* Proven ability to manage audits, write detailed technical reports, and present findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.
* Skilled in project management support, including planning, scheduling, and material/resource coordination.
* Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills, with a proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
* Familiarity with relevant regulatory and international standards in Oil & Gas projects is highly desirable.
* Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related field are advantageous.
