Hours: 36.25 hours per week
Shifts: between 07:30 – 18:15, Monday to Sunday
Location: Oldbury, office-based role
As a Technical Advisor, you’ll provide expert advice to our customers via telephone, acting as the go-to expert for telephone fixes and supporting the business by dispatching patrols only when necessary.
What will I be doing?
* Providing essential technical support, advice, and repair fixes to our customers, ensuring attendance only in genuine breakdown scenarios.
* Ensuring efficient communication and effective resolution of breakdowns.
* Meticulously recording data on relevant databases to support management insights and decision-making. Computer literacy and confidence with various systems are essential.
* Communicating complex technical information clearly and effectively to customers and patrols, providing excellent customer service.
* Focusing on achieving results as a target-driven individual.
* Providing advice and support to our VWG Dedicated Technicians.
What do I need?
* Mechanical Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification, along with substantial demonstrable experience in the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry.
* A Fixer/Problem Solver: Enjoy utilising your technical expertise to resolve a variety of issues, helping customers get back on the road.
* A Master Communicator: Ability to simplify complex technical information and communicate it effectively to build customer and patrol confidence.
* Flexible: Willing to work outside normal hours on a roster basis, including weekends, to cover breakdowns and car troubles.
