New Car Sales Executive role at Lookers Motor Group Limited
We are one of the top three automotive retailers in the UK, proudly representing 32 manufacturer brands and selling a wide range of new and used vehicles from over 150 dealerships across the UK and Ireland.
Preston Volkswagen
* Contract Type: Permanent, full time
* Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum plus company car (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission)
* Hours: 44 hours per week – Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00, Saturday 09:00 to 17:00, Sunday 11:00 to 15:00 (one day off per week, weekends on rota basis)
Responsibilities
* Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
* Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
* Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
* Negotiating the final price for the sale
* Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
* Liaising with various departments within the dealership to provide the best service to all customers
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, a self‑motivated attitude and a passion for driving sales. The ideal candidate should be ambitious, hard‑working and able to hit targets. Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred, but new or fresh talent is welcome. A full UK driving licence is required as you may need to drive a range of prestigious vehicles.
