Job Description
Balance. All people want is a balance between the work they put in and the rewards they get out. At many firms, this isn't the case. You may not receive the clients or support needed, and unrealistic expectations may be placed on you. Often, the rewards are weighted towards the company. Not here.
At this financial planning firm, they get the balance right. They are transparent from the start about what you'll inherit and what you need to do. For this vacancy, that means managing 90-100 client households and approximately £175,000 of ongoing fees. There's a 3.5x validation of salary, so from day one, you know what you're walking into.
Your existing client bank will require servicing, which takes time away from developing new business. However, this client bank offers opportunities for new business, both directly and through referrals. As you'll be inheriting clients from a retiring planner, you'll have plenty of opportunities to expand your work with current clients.
The firm also offers different services so clients with less complex needs can be directed elsewhere, allowing you to focus on clients with ongoing needs. As you grow your book, you'll receive a bonus on growing ongoing fees (15%), rewarding both immediate new business and long-term client retention.
In addition to a generous bonus, you'll receive a competitive starting salary based on your experience (£50,000 - £75,000).
Benefits include:
* 25 days annual leave
* A day off for your birthday
* Contributory pension scheme
* Private healthcare
* Life assurance
* Health insurance
Support from paraplanners and administrators in your local office means your time is dedicated to client interactions, not paperwork.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: You'll need to be a Level 4 adviser with 18-24 months post-CAS experience. You should have the energy, determination, and ability to manage a sizable client portfolio and develop new business. Clients are based in Teesside, along with your local office, so residing in the area is preferred.
