Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Critical Care Rehabilitation Practitioner based at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the Critical Care rehabilitation team, involving setting up and leading outpatient clinics with a dedicated critical care MDT.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work at an enhanced level of practice, utilising highly developed post-graduate experience, knowledge, and skills in Critical Care specialty. They will manage discrete aspects of a patient’s care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, within their current level of practice and patient group.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate will have significant postgraduate healthcare experience, demonstrating professional development across the four pillars of practice. They will also have significant experience of care in critical care, experience of working with patients/service users to resolve concerns and improve their experience, and evidence of effective networking.

* Experience of supervising staff and delivering training
* Postgraduate qualification in counselling and clinical assessment
* Experience of presenting to groups of staff/public

* Leading in quality improvement projects within clinical specialty
* Evidence of delivering education and training to individuals or groups
Qualifications
* Current NMC/HCPC registration
* Degree in nursing or working towards degree or equivalent
* Preparation of mentors or equivalent
* Evidence of continuing professional development within Critical Care Practice
* Master’s degree or working towards this qualification
* Advanced practice or Masters/L7 programme commenced
