Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service with our team in Coalvillw. The night shift will include the use of a Moffett Truck as you'll be supporting our customer in the delivery of vehicle glass repair and replacement.
*** Ideally we are looking for someone with a minimum of a Counterbalance licence however we can provide full FLT training for the right applicant with a contractual agreement in place that if you terminate your contract with us within 2 years payment will be taken back) ***
What You Really Want To Know:
1. Salary: £16.89 Per Hour / £43,917.12 Per Annum (Plus Moffett Bonus)
2. An additional bonus of over £2k per annum for using a Moffett Licence will be paid
3. Sunday to Thursday shift pattern.
4. Start Times: 22:00-01:00
5. The holiday allowance is 28 days including bank holidays
6. Overtime is available
7. Parking Onsite
HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
8. General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
9. Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer
10. Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
11. Assisting with loading and unloading
12. Use of moffett truck (night shift)
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
13. A full UK C+E licence
14. 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
15. Excellent driving skills
16. No more than 6 points on your licence
17. No previous disqualifications
18. Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
