Responsibilities of Year 6 Teacher:
• Deliver an engaging curriculum to prepare pupils for secondary transition.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and effort.
• Use assessment data effectively to target teaching and raise attainment.
• Actively contribute to Year 6 events, SATs preparation, and parental engagement.
Requirements of Year 6 Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong experience in KS2, ideally Year 6.
• Confident, organised, and passionate about progress and achievement.
• Skilled in curriculum planning and tracking pupil outcomes.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a team setting.
