Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a large, well-established secondary school in the Tameside area to appoint a skilled Maths Teacher to start in September 2025. The school is open to full-time or part-time availability for the right candidate.
You will be joining a strong and collaborative Maths department with a clear focus on raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities. The role involves teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 if desired.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Have experience teaching the UK Maths curriculum across KS3–KS4
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and confident delivery of challenging topics
Use data and assessment effectively to support pupil progress
Be committed to inclusive teaching and supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND and EAL
Be passionate about mathematics, fostering curiosity and resilience in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
