A respected and award-winning main contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK, is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager. This company operates across multiple sectors including commercial, government, education, high-end residential, healthcare, and industrial – and boasts a strong project pipeline with consistent repeat business from industry-leading clients.

The Role:
This is a full-time, site-based role for a Project Manager capable of running projects from pre-construction through to handover. The position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be expected to manage all phases of the build, maintain high standards on-site, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead construction projects from concept to completion
Develop and manage project programmes, reporting on progress weekly
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Coordinate site logistics, sequencing, and methodology
Interpret technical drawings and ensure adherence to design intent
Work closely with commercial and pre-construction teams
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and all site activities
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience managing full lifecycle of construction projects with a main contractor
Skilled in programming, scheduling, and project delivery
Strong knowledge of UK construction processes, standards, and regulations
Professional, solutions-focused communicator with strong organisation skills
Comfortable working alongside commercial and technical teams
Ideally MCIOB or working toward chartership
Degree qualified in Construction Management or related field preferred
Must live within 1 hour of Epping, Essex
