We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships and drive individual performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Daily route scheduling of deliveries and collections
* Plan the schedule to ensure an appropriate amount of work is in every day and sufficient notice is given to customers
* Manage the resources available to complete scheduled orders
* Re-direct colleagues to new jobs as required to meet urgent customer requirements
* To provide a professional, customer-focused service
* Liaise with other transport partners
* Assist in the daily transport scheduling of fleet service and maintenance
* Working with internal Customers to ensure deliveries/collections are timely
* Assist in the scheduling of Driver absence/holiday
* Assist in controlling expenditure within the department
* Assist with other tasks or projects as they arise
* Managing reports in a timely fashion to ensure full data availability as required.
It is essential that you bring:
* Working knowledge of UK fleet and transport legislation
* Experience of working to and supporting others in achieving KPIs
* Focused and accurate to ensure compliance adherence to scheduling
* Proactivity and the ability to work on your own initiative
* An eye for detail
* Strong IT skills to include Excel and Outlook alongside an ability to learn new skills within a company ERP system

Monday - Friday, three-week rotating shift pattern: week 1, 8:00 - 17:30, week 2, 9:00 - 18:30, week 3, 10:00 - 19:30.
