We are looking for an HR Advisor (Maternity Cover) to join our dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking HR team within a large, successful Multi Academy Trust. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across multiple academies, helping us create an environment where staff can thrive and students can succeed. The role starts in July 2025, but this is negotiable.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Providing hands-on HR support and advice to academy leaders and staff across multiple schools
2. Supporting all aspects of casework including attendance, performance, conduct, and grievances
3. Advising on policy, compliance, and employee relations in line with employment law and education-specific regulations
4. Partnering with leaders to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture
5. Collaborating with the wider Trust HR team on projects and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role
2. Strong knowledge of current employment law and HR best practices
3. Confidence in handling employee relations casework from start to finish
4. Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate clearly at all levels
5. Experience in education or the public sector is desirable but not essential
6. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is advantageous
