Job Introduction
Are you ready to lead a team that keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes? At William Grant & Sons in Bellshill, we’re looking for a Materials Management Team Leader to ensure our Bottling Team has everything they need to deliver world class products on time, every time.
Main Responsibility
1. Lead and inspire a team of Material Controllers and Planners, fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring capacity meets demand.
2. Coordinate the supply of material to deliver the production plan while hitting stock and inventory targets.
3. Collaborate across the business, reviewing vendor schedules and resolving supply gaps through S&OE and S&OP frameworks.
4. Partner with the Procurement and Quality team to maintain supplier contracts and service level agreements.
5. Drive continuous improvement, reducing shortages, improving efficiency, and balancing cost, inventory, and service.
6. Report and review dry goods held by suppliers, identifying risks and opportunities.
7. Contribute to business reviews, sharing insights and leading functional discussions.
