Are you ready to shape the future of education?
CENTURY Tech is looking for an exceptional Head of Product to lead our product function. This is a role for someone who wants to build something meaningful. We need a leader who can build and inspire a high-performing team, navigate the complexities of a scaling business, and translate a bold vision into products that empower learners and educators worldwide.
This is a leadership role that requires both strategic vision and a firm grasp of reality, able to balance ambitious commercial goals with our core pedagogical mission. If you are a resilient, user-obsessed product leader who is energised by solving complex problems and fostering a culture of rapid learning within a motivated team, we want to hear from you.
About CENTURY
Founded by entrepreneur Priya Lakhani OBE in 2013, CENTURY is a team of around 100 people dedicated to improving education through technology. Backed by long-term investors, our innovative AI-driven tools personalise learning and provide rich data insights to empower teachers and organisations. We partner with leading schools, universities, and companies globally.
The role
* Lead with vision: You will own the product vision, translating our ambitious company goals into a clear, actionable roadmap, and developing metrics that measure progress against strategic objectives.
* Build and empower a high-performing team: Provide mentorship, growth, and inspiration for the product – and wider – teams. You'll be responsible for hiring, developing talent, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Drive for impactful execution: You will own the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and user research to launch and iteration. You'll work directly with engineering, design, and commercial leaders to ensure we are solving the right problems in the right way, and constantly reflecting on how we can improve both our product and processes.
* Champion a data-informed, user-obsessed culture: You will ensure that the voice of the user is at the heart of every decision we make, balanced with rigorous data analysis to measure impact and inform our strategy.
* Scale our processes: You will refine our product development processes and adopt new frameworks and best practices, ensuring we are agile, efficient, and can maintain our growth without sacrificing quality or innovation.
Who you are
* You have experience in product leadership, having scaled products and teams within a high-growth SaaS or edtech environment.
* Significant experience in product management, with at least 7 years working in product functions. An expert in your field who is always learning.
* You are a strategic thinker who can seamlessly switch between the vision and the execution and communicate with clarity and conviction.
* You are not just comfortable with, but energised by, the ambiguity and pace of a scale-up environment. You see challenges as opportunities.
* You have a genuine passion for education and are motivated by using your skills to make a positive impact on the world.
* You are eligible to work in the UK.
What we offer
* A competitive salary and benefits package.
* 25 days holiday (+5 rollover days) + bank holidays.
* Additional leave: your birthday off and three extra days between Christmas and New Year.
* A hybrid work model with access to our Central London office (we value in-person collaboration and expect 2-3 days in the office per week).
* The option, after one year, to work from overseas for up to 3 weeks annually (must follow UK working hours).
* The opportunity to join a passionate, mission-driven team that is dedicated to changing the world through education.
