Lecturer in Health and Psychology Job description West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds 1 FTE - 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: £28,443 - £40,350 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Health and Psychology to join our dynamic and supportive teaching team. This role involves delivering and assessing a range of Health and Social Care related units, with a primary focus on Health, but may also include Psychology and Science content. You will play a key role in teaching and directing courses across Level 1, 2, and 3 Diplomas, helping to shape and support student learning journeys through engaging and effective teaching. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing Level 1 provision, working collaboratively with colleagues to inspire and guide learners in achieving their full potential within the sector. Ideally, you will hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and possess, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification. While prior experience in a teaching or lecturing role is highly advantageous, it is not essential that you have a background specifically in Health and Social Sciences, full training and support will be provided.
