ENG Bauen is partnering with a global engineering and construction consultant executing a strategic growth plan in the UK, aiming to be a leading Tier 1 contractor. As part of this expansion, the company is heavily investing in net-zero and energy programmes, creating opportunities for engineers experienced in FEED packages and full-lifecycle EPC projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior EC&I Design Engineer to influence the delivery of EPC projects ranging from £10M – £150M while supporting the UK’s transition to a net-zero energy future.
The Role:
* Deliver Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) design within multi-discipline EPC/EPCM projects.
* Work across the full project lifecycle: concept, FEED, detailed design, construction support, and commissioning in greenfield and brownfield environments.
* Manage and complete EC&I engineering and design within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
* Utilize EPlan P8 as the primary design software (experience with AutoCAD alone is not sufficient).
The Person:
* Qualified in Electrical Engineering (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng).
* Proven experience delivering NEC / EPC projects.
* Strong understanding of engineering and construction design/controls within Nuclear Licensed sites is advantageous.
* Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition.
* Design experience in energy or process plant environments, with proficiency in 3D modelling software (preferably SP3D or PDMS).
