Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician (Multiple Shifts)

Standard Work Hours:
* Multiple shifts
Compensation
* Hourly Rate: $35 to $45, commensurate with experience and qualifications
* Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 upon successful hiring
* Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour
Responsibilities:
* Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment control.
* Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
* Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
* Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
* Perform basic mechanical repairs.
* Perform the work of lower-classified technicians.
* May direct the work of others in lower classifications.
* Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures.
* Install and monitor performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements.
* Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
* Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and services including panels, breakers, and conduit.
* Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits per diagrams.
* Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
* Perform various tasks as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications:
* Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years of work experience required.
* Ability to use a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
MUST HAVE:
* Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years of work experience.
* Experience designing minor electrical circuits and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits.
* Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
* Ability to read schematics or blueprints for installing electrical and electronic controls.
* Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
* Basic mechanical repair skills.
* Ability to interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements:
* Standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
* Passing a pre-employment physical, including a baseline test of lifting at least 50 pounds.
* Passing a drug screen and background check.
