Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Craftsperson (Fabric Engineer) to join a facilities team based at a large hospital site in North London.
This is a stable, Monday–Friday role within a professional environment, focused on delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric.
The Role
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs.
* General building fabric duties including carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and repairs.
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and site procedures.
* Supervising contractors and assisting with site operations where required.
* Managing materials and reporting any hazards or defects.
* Completing all relevant documentation accurately.
* Participating in an on‑call rota as required.

* Salary up to £37,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements
* Relevant trade qualification (carpentry, building fabric or similar).
* Experience carrying out building fabric maintenance within commercial or public‑sector environments.
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
