An opportunity has opened up within a well-established small animal practice following an internal move. The team is now looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a good mix of consults and surgery and wants to be part of a positive, down-to-earth working environment.
This is a practice with a loyal client base and a real community feel, where relationships matter and clinical freedom is encouraged. The owners are approachable and open-minded, creating a culture where your ideas and development genuinely count.
You'll be working alongside a small but experienced team, supported by skilled nurses and a strong front-of-house setup - meaning you can focus on delivering high-quality care.
The role offers a balanced 4-day week (9-6) with a 1:3 Saturday morning rota (9-12) and no out-of-hours. There is a small element of sole charge (around one weekday and weekends), making it ideal for a confident GP vet looking to take ownership of their day.
Clinically, the practice is well-equipped, including investment in laparoscopic spay equipment, and there's a real emphasis on developing skills - with full support for CPD and certificates.
