Quantity Surveyor
Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Pocklington, UK (near York)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + Company Car
Hours: 45 hours per week
We are currently working with a rapidly growing and well-established organisation within the
construction sector that is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their
commercial team in Pocklington, near York.

The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and site teams to ensure
projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse subcontractor quotations and liaise with internal stakeholders
• Prepare and manage subcontract documentation, including interim and final payments
• Produce Bills of Quantities and activity schedules
• Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts
• Monitor project costs, contract income, and expenditure
• Manage interim applications, final accounts, and recovery of payments
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, including cost/value reconciliations
• Provide commercial advice and support to site teams
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities
• HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
