About the roleAs the Workforce Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the development andimplementation of effective workforce planning, in partnership with Head of Data & Analytics. You will also proactively organise establishment and budget information to ensure accurate and reliable information within Customer Service function.Key responsibilitiesBe responsible for developing, implementing a workforce plan to achieve the requirements set and met customer demand.Monitor and report on the performance of the organisation against the workforce plan, highlighting any risks and making recommendations to adjust the plan as necessary.Analyse and monitor workforce statistics including retention and diversity profiles to identify trends and gaps, making recommendations to address these.Forecast requirements for promotion, and undertake succession planning for key skillsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with strategic and operational leaders to understand organisational objectives and ensure workforce plans meet expectations.Work with Management team to ensure any plans for restructures, workforce modernisation or service reviews are fed into the workforce planning process.Be responsible for the accuracy of workforce data.Proactively identify and produce management information to enable managers to monitor and challenge.Produce reports and statistical information as required.Qualifications and skillsKnowledge of strategic workforce planning and best practicePrevious experience of workforce planningCollating, analysing, forecasting and presenting data.Experience working within a Financial Services environment.Have meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational and planning skills.Strong influencing and negotiating skills.Excellent communicatorAdvanced Microsoft Skills in Excel and Power BIAbility to independently manage numerous priorities and conflicting demands.Proven ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of an organisation, including Senior LeadersScottish Friendly Values We would like you to demonstrate the Scottish Friendly values in your role: WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHERcollaborate and value each other’s opiniona small team with a big impactsupport each other to thrive and growWE CARE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERScustomers are at the heart of everything we docommitted to doing the right things for our customerslisten to and learn from our customersWE KEEP MOVING FORWARDalways see change as an opportunityprogress is based on careful management of our riskshave the courage to test new ideas and learn from them
