Job Title: Level 1 Tech Bar Support – Airside (Gatwick)Location: Gatwick AirportRate: £170 per dayContract Length: 3 monthsStart Date: ASAPWorking Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm
* Saturday & Sunday: 11am – 2pm (to be covered on a rota basis, with time off during the week)
Overview:
We’re urgently looking for 2 Level 1 Tech Bar Engineers to join a busy on-site support team based at Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong first-line technical support experience and a customer-focused approach, looking to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide front-line IT support at the on-site Tech Bar
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
* Support end users face-to-face in a professional and efficient manner
* Escalate issues when necessary in line with support procedures
* Maintain a tidy and well-managed tech bar space
* Participate in weekend rota cover with agreed time off in the week
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a 1st line / Level 1 IT support role
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Full, clean UK driving licence (essential for airside driving certification)
* Clear and uninterrupted 5-year work history in the UK (essential for airside pass)
* Willingness to undergo airside badging and airside driving certification (costs covered)
Additional Information:
* Weekend work is required on a rota basis, not both days every weekend
* Airside driving certification and badging are mandatory for this role
* Candidates must be available for immediate start
